The Can Borni nurseries were built for the International Exhibition of 1929 as a garden for the acclimatization of plants from all over the world. The project was the work of Nicolau M Rubió i Tudur (1891-1981), architect, town planner and landscape designer, who, when designing the nursery, was inspired by the gardens he most admired: the Roman and Arab gardens. Located at the foot of the Tibidabo Amusement Park, its special location gives it a microclimate that favours the acclimatization of certain plants and trees that need certain conditions.

The restoration project that has been carried out at present has respected the old organization of the space to the maximum. The old platforms intended for the nursery have been conditioned for the walk, the dry stone walls and the various fountains and water channels have been redone. A space with an endearing charm has been created, where you can enjoy a walk surrounded by nature and tranquillity.
