Sustainability

The fourth transversal axis of Tibidabo is sustainability.

From the Tibidabo Amusement Park, integrated into the Collserola Natural Park, we love and care about our environment, and that is why we establish as a transversal axis of our management the commitment to the environment. Since 2007 we have been a member of Barcelona + Sustainable and since 2015 we have been certified according to the ISO 14001 regulations.

We work on the following projects related to sustainability:

• Sustainable mobility: facilitating access with the new Cuca de Llum funicular, reducing emissions associated with the journey to the summit. Discover the project here.

• Circular economy: taking into account the life cycle of processes, as well as giving a second life to waste.

• Sustainable consumption of resources: both electricity and water.

• Solidarity and inclusion: improving the well-being of people who interact with Tibidabo, making the world more conscious, free and inclusive.

• Biodiversity management: being part of the Collserola Natural Park.

• Environmental education: involving stakeholders to create alliances and promote environmental awareness.

• Food waste prevention: reducing avoidable waste and controlling the variables that condition its generation.
