Sustainability

The fourth transversal axis of Tibidabo is sustainability.

From the Tibidabo Amusement Park, integrated into the Collserola Natural Park, we love and care about our environment, and that is why we establish as a transversal axis of our management the commitment to the environment. Since 2007 we have been a member of Barcelona + Sustainable and since 2015 we have been certified according to the ISO 14001 regulations.

We work in 3 areas related to the environment:

• Mobility and accessibility: the use of public transport is promoted as one of the Park's priorities to reach the top of the mountain for both visitors and workers and supplier companies. The main objective of the new Cuca de Llum funicular is to make access to Tibidabo as sustainable as possible. Discover the project here.

• Biodiversity: periodic maintenance of native vegetation is carried out within the Park grounds.

• Reduction of waste and control of electricity and water consumption: actions are taken to improve the selective collection of waste, as well as the control of water and electricity.
