The fourth transversal axis of Tibidabo is sustainability.

 

At the Tibidabo Amusement Park, integrated into the Collserola Natural Park, we love and care about our environment, and for this reason we have established a commitment to the environment as a transversal axis of our management. Since 2007 we have been a member of Barcelona + Sustainable and since 2015 we have been certified according to the ISO 14001 standard.

 

We work on the following projects related to sustainability:

 

  • Sustainable Mobility: facilitating access with the new Cuca de Llum funicular, reducing emissions associated with the trip to the summit.
  • Resource Consumption: both electricity and water.
  • Waste Management and Circular Economy: taking into account the life cycle of processes, as well as giving a second life to waste.
  • Biodiversity Management: being part of the Collserola Natural Park.
  • Environmental Education: involving stakeholders to create alliances and promote environmental awareness.
  • Solidarity and Inclusion: improving the well-being of people who interact with Tibidabo, making a more conscious, free and inclusive world.

Bo represents the axis of sustainability

The wild boar of Tibidabo, Bo, is a glutton and a slob. He is always thinking about food but, between meals, he is interested in the care of the natural environment and the environment. For this reason, Bo represents the axis of sustainability.
